Your lungs
are a critical aspect of natural detoxification. Internal cleansing is
mandatory for optimal respiratory maintenance.
You can burn 400 calories in just one 20-minute
session! Compare below to other forms of sweating.
From Mike:
It
is absolutely heavenly. My body heats up and sweats a lot faster then in
rock or steam saunas. I do not leave the sauna feeling drained like I did
with the rock and steam kind. I can even watch the Discovery channel or
read or listen to talking books or music and get a great sweat and
internal cleanse. More about this below. No messy water, hot rocks or expensive ventilation or
installation to deal with. This is major jumpstart for my personal spring
and ongoing detoxification program and for visiting clients. I am confident that after
only one or two sessions, you will wonder how you ever lived without it.
A Far Infrared Ray is a form
of electromagnetic light energy from the sun. It falls within the same
family as Infrared Rays in the light spectrum, but due to its longer
wavelengths, FIR cannot be seen by human eyes, just like ultraviolet rays
and X-rays. This radiant energy is absolutely essential for human beings
and all living things in the world .

Far Infrared Sauna Vs. Traditional Sauna
Don't miss the
Combos below.

Infrared saunas used in the home are the first step to better physical
and mental health. It is now possible to have an infrared sauna of your
very own. At a price you can afford.
Saunas and steam baths have been used for centuries by cultures around
the world to bring about detoxification and better health.
Traditionally, saunas have been used to improve mental clarity, to
diminish pain, and to promote longevity.
Far-Infrared (FIR) heat is a form of naturally occurring energy that
directly heats objects by gentle infrared radiation heat, rather than by
raising the temperature of the surrounding air. FIR heat is completely
safe for the human body. Physical therapists often use FIR heat to
promote healing, and hospitals use the same heat to keep premature
babies warm in incubators.
In the past few years, hyperthermic (sweat) therapy has been studied
extensively. Through this research, it has been shown that far infrared
saunas greatly assist in the elimination of accumulated toxins due to
the deep level therapeutic heating. Toxic metals and waste such as
mercury, lead, nickel, cadmium, alcohol, nicotine, sodium and
cholesterol are excreted in high quantities in the sweat during a 30-min
infrared sauna session.
Sweating reduces stress and fatigue; burns
calories, reduces cellulite, helps control weight; removes toxins and
wastes; relaxes and soothes muscles; relieves pain and joint stiffness;
boost metabolism and improves the immune system; it also promotes a healthier skin
condition and skin tone; enhanced blood circulation, and gives you a good
cardiovascular workout.
Do
not be fooled by non ceramic heaters. These saunas
use ceramic heaters, with 16 minerals in the
ceramic which product therapeutic far infrared waves. The non ceramic
produce only heat, not infrared waves. There are many phony saunas on
the market. I even saw one (a $600.00 tent version) being sold at the
Spa Conference in Los Angeles last February.
EXERCISE:
During a 10-20 minute sauna session, your heart
rate increases by 50-75%. This provides the same metabolic result as
physical exercise. The increased cardiac load is the equivalent to a brisk
walk. There is a nominal effect on blood pressure because the heat also
causes blood vessels in skin to expand to accommodate increased blood
flow. To repeat.
Those that do not or can not exercise can still receive incredible self
healing benefits for regular FIR sauna sweats.
DETOXIFICATION:
Toxins such as sodium,
alcohol, nicotine, cholesterol and carcinogenic heavy metals (cadmium,
lead, zinc, nickel) accumulate in the body during modern daily life. The
body eliminates most toxins naturally by sweating. Heat therapy stimulates
the sweat glands that cleanse and detoxify the skin. The heat simply
speeds up the body's natural process. Those that do not or can not
exercise can still receive incredible self healing benefits.
PAIN RELIEF:
Heat relieves pain by expanding blood vessels and
increasing circulation. Better circulation allows more oxygen to reach
injured areas of the body and helps reduce pain and speed up the healing
process.
Arthritis Pain Relief.
In Europe, radiant heat therapy is widely
used to treat patients suffering from many forms of arthritis. The deep
heat of our infrared sauna helps peripheral blood vessels dilate, bringing
relief and healing to muscle and soft tissue injuries. It has been proven
effective in the treatment of sprains, neuralgia, bursitis, muscle spasms,
joint stiffness and many other musculoskeletal ailments. Increased blood
circulation carries off metabolic waste products and delivers oxygen-rich
blood to depleted muscles so they recover faster. Muscles relax most
readily when tissues are warm, promoting greater flexibility and range of
motion. Much of the stiffness, aches and soreness that come with aging are
reduced or eliminated.
WEIGHT CONTROL:
Perspiring is part of the
complex thermoregulatory process of the body that increases the heart
rate, cardiac output, and metabolic rate. The process requires a large
amount of energy and reduces excess moisture, salt and subcutaneous fat.
Fat becomes water-soluble and the body sweats out fats and toxins.
INDUCED FEVER:
During a fever, the body
heats up to eliminate viruses and attack foreign agents. This rise in
temperature is a natural stage of the immune system's healing process
and is one of the best ways to rid the body of chemicals and unwelcome
visitors. The combination of heat, extra water and the immune system
weakens the hold of viruses and bacterial growth. Saunas induce an
"artificial fever" by heating up the body but without the pains of an
illness. Subsequently, the body wards off invading organisms much more
easily because the immune system is activated consistently by the
"artificial fever".
MORE
The
traditional sauna is electric, wood or gas fired. Preheating to 150-200
degrees is required for copious sweating. The intense heat is difficult
for many to tolerate, especially when ill.
Far-infrared saunas do even more! They heat the body, but the air
remains cool. Sweating begins quickly and the experience is rather
pleasant. Preheating is unnecessary which saves electricity.
As the body increases sweat production to cool itself, the heart works
harder. Heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate increases. Blood
pressure drops. This helps improve cardiovascular fitness.
The Journal of the American Medical Association reported "A
moderately conditioned person can easily sweat off 500 gms. in a sauna,
consuming nearly 300 kcal - the equivalent of running 2 - 3 miles. A
heat-conditioned person can easily sweat off 600 - 800 kcal with no
adverse effects. While the weight of the water loss can be regained by
rehydration with water, the calories consumed will not be."
Infrared saunas do even more. They generate two to three times the sweat
produced in a hot-air sauna. The weight loss math is good because
producing one gram of sweat requires 0.586 calories
You can burns 400 or more calories in just one 20-minute
session!
Compare this to the calories a 150-pound person normally burns up in
20-minutes of exercise:
20 Minute SPORT CALORIES
Marathon Running 393
Vigorous Racquet Ball 310
Swimming (crawl stroke) 200
Jogging 200
Tennis (fast game) 195
Cycling (10 mph) 175
Golfing (without a cart) 100
Walking (3.5 mph) 150
There are some cautions. Infrared heating may aggravate pacemakers or
heart conditions. At higher altitude the heat may have faster,
different or stronger effects. Anyone with blood clot problems should
also beware. Internal heat expands blood vessels and could release a
clot.
SIZE OF SAUNA
The size of the sauna that you choose is obviously dependent upon the
number of people you see using it at any given time, as well as your
comfort zone requirements. A two person Infrared Sauna will certainly
accommodate two people, but what works for some is simply too tight for
others. If you wish to have a fair amount of extra personal space when
sharing a sauna—and remember, you will be sweating a lot. If you don’t
foresee sharing the sauna, a two person model is very comfortable for one
person, and the one person model is excellent if space is an issue.
This modular infrared sauna comes with 6 easy to assemble panels. No
special tools are needed. Now, you can enjoy the benefit of an infrared
sauna in the comfort of your own home!
